Aim: The Training Course “Res Divina – Youth for Religious Dialogue” is organized for youth workers from Youth in Action Programme Countries and from Eastern Europe and Caucasus. The training is aimed to improve the personal skills and abilities of the participants in implementing inter-religious youth projects.
Objectives:
* To provide youth workers with new knowledge about the main religions in Europe
* To provide youth workers with new knowledge about origin and development of religion
* To improve skills and abilities of youth workers in running inter-religious youth projects (youth exchanges, seminars)
* To bring together organizations working with young people in order to create new project ideas within the Youth in Action Programme
* To establish new partnerships and cooperation for the improvement of quality in international youth work

Content:

* Origin of religion
* Development of religion
* Religion and society
* Facts and figures about religions in Europe
* Basics of Islam, Judaism, Christianity
* Youth in Action Programme (Action 1, 2 and 4)
* Intercultural and inter-religious learning
* Usage of different working methods (group building games, energizer, simulation exercises)
* Developing project ideas for international youth projects

Duration:

6 days (excluding arrival and departure)

Participants:

23 participants (one participant per partner organization)

Partners:

Programme Countries (EU, Turkey, Norway, Lichtenstein) and Eastern European and Caucasian Countries

Conditions:

As this TC will be implemented in the frame of the Youth in Action Programme, your accommodation costs and food supply will be covered during the duration of the project. In addition, 70 % of your travel expenses will be reimbursed to you. It means that you have to cover 30 % of it on your own.
